A Few Snapshots of Bakers Bay

Bakers Bay, Guana Cay
From our table at Bakers Bay we could see this condo building with 3 - 6 million dollar a piece condos overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

GREAT TIME AT GREEN TURTLE CAY AND LEEWARD YACHT CLUB

Exactly 3 weeks and 3 days were spent on Green Turtle Cay this season. Usually we do not hang around that long because we are always in a hurry to plant ourselves at Boat Harbour Marina at Marsh Harbour on Great Abaco Island. Once we were at Leeward Yacht Club, we didn't want to leave. Beautiful, gorgeous white sand beaches were a short stroll away from the marina on Black Sound where the water temperature in the in-ground pool was maintained at 88 degrees! Daily drink specials for $3.00 were offered up at the Tiki Bar and there was much to do in the settlement because Thanksgiving and Christmas were upon us. Lighting of the town Christmas tree fesitivities, golf cart parade, children's torch parade, jingle bell trot, boat parage and the festival of lights were a sampling of the spirit of Green Turtle Cay this time of year and we enjoyed every event. Side trips included lunch at Bakers Bay with John and Sharon Kool and a trip to Marsh Harbour to see the new grocery store "Maxwells".
