Peggy, Terry and Heidi onboard "More Attitude" quietly slipped away from her dock on Saturday, October 23rd. Summer on Wilton Creek off the Piankatank River was lovely, hot and full of activity. For the boat, that is, we added some new features and systems to our Nordic Tug in anticipation of our fall cruise down the ICW to Florida and over to the Abacos for the winter. A stern thruster was added, we know, it seems like overkill for a less than 40 foot boat, but we knew it would be a wonderful addition and help us in those tight docking situations involving current and wind. A sunshade for the cockpit was added by "Ships Tailor", our preferred canvas vendor and the salon got a window treatment make over with new day/night shades installed by "Coastal Curtains" this summer. Along with the radar dome, antenna replacement, and new non-skid Terry kept contractors busy all summer with his pecking list for the boat. Boat detailing, bottom painting and our Cummins engine/genset service was expertly handled this summer at "Deltaville Yachting Center" by Lew Grimm, owner of DYC. All systems were a "go" when we pushed off for our trip.
